| The destination for the first annual Clearwater House guide trip was chosen for two reasons: affordability and the opportunity to pursue a wide variety of saltwater species. Cuzan Guest House in Punta Allen on Ascension Bay definitely delivered. The fishing was fantastic! Almost every member of our group got to cast to four or more species of fish. We caught many bonefish and jacks, nearly a dozen snook, a couple permit, some barracuda, and hooked a couple tarpon! The guides were very professional and knew their waters intimately. And eating lobster every other night wasn't bad, either! Here are some photos from the trip. |
